Bumi has Uncle Sokka & Aunt Suki & Grandpa Hakoda & Grand-Uncle Bato & Great-Grandma Kanna (assuming she’s alive) & (prolly) Auntie Mai & Auntie Ty Lee & all those non-benders who are likely crucial to his dynamic personality, but keep in mind that they are relatives/friends. The point of this is to make you think how hard must it have been for a little kid to feel alienated from his immediate nuclear family. I’m glad to see there are those who actually get this and aren’t all HE HAS AN UNCLE SOKKA DUH because omg that is neither here nor there
